“ This place has amazing food. Try the cheese sauce with chips. You can't go wrong. Also, the waiters are very good and get you everything quickly. ”
“ Just happened to find this place while searching for "Mexican food near me" as we drove across AR. It wasn't far off the highway, clean, good atmosphere, excellent service, great prices, and a large menu. We had six in our party and everyone was more than happy with their meal. We ordered the guacamole appetizer and it had fresh avocados with pico etc that you mash yourself with a pestle. Salsa was good. Chips were hot and crisp, portions were average to large (we left with three take home boxes). Have we had better? Yes, but with much higher prices and higher expectations. If you're not a Mexican food snob, you will be very satisfied. ”

The folks at El Perion were masters at what they do, placing warm chips and cold salsa on our table before we were even seated. As soon as we were comfortable, they came to take our drink orders and our food orders. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla, which came out hot within minutes. As you can tell since I didn't attach a photo, it was so good I couldn't even wait to take a picture! Filled with delicious veggies and paired a few sides, this meal filled me up and left me feeling very satisfied. Had we not stuck around to chat, we could've easily been in and out within 30 minutes. This is a no frills Mexican restaurant, but they really know their stuff. I was comfortable the whole time and very thankful we stopped here. ”

The music played softly in the background which made at ambiance very nice. I always get some extra hot sauce and they brought out a new one on me. You have to ask for it. ”
“ We were in town for just one night. Stopped at El Parian for dinner and was not disappointed. Started with the chunky guaco (a real avocado cut-up atop pico de gallo) - wow, that was delish. The chips were toasty and thin, with the best flavor and crunch. I had the beef chimichanga and hubs had two a la carte tacos. The salsa was super, too. We loved everything we ordered! When we were leaving, a table was being set-up for 14 at 8 pm on a Sunday night. That was a good testament to this sweet lil' restaurant. ”
